St. Patrick’s Day Around the World

The green Chicago River has excited locals since it’s accidental creation  44 years ago.  Plumbers once used this dye to trace water leaks heading to the river and when they noticed it turned the perfect shade of green, they couldn’t resist celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in a big way!

Locals from down under are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by a simple swap of green lighting!  

Does anyone celebrate St. Patrick’s Day bigger than Ireland?  Those in Dublin aren’t just celebrating on St. Patrick’s Day, they have four days of fun with tours of the city, a parade, a beer festival, carnival, and scavenger hunt.
