London Fast Facts

- The city tends to be a little formal in its attire, so bust out your poshest outfit.

- Tips are usually included on most checks, but if not, a pound or two at most will do.

- Chips are french fries, Crisps are potato chips, and Sarnies are sandwiches.

- The main airport is Heathrow. The Gatwick terminal is the gateway to most European flights and Stanstead and Luton terminals handle the smaller airlines.

Why I Love London: Anchor & Hope
This is the quintessential nose-to-tail English Gastropub. I had a delicious off-the-menu main course of poached meat - including ox tail - in a fantastic broth. The menu is seasonal, as well as the beer (I had a Young’s Winter Warmer), and make sure to get there early as tables are first come, first serve.

Why I Love London: The Young Vic
I just got back from London and got the chance to see Hamlet at the Young Vic. Starring Michael Sheen (Midnight in Paris, The Twilight Saga), this modern interpretation will leave you breathless. Make sure to get there early for the Pre-Show Journey.
