So… you love to shop. Scratch that… you’re a shop-a-holic. Not just any shop-a-holic, but you live, breathe, and eat fashion. You look at your closet and think “What can I buy next?” But then, realize that the 3 closets of clothes you have is outdated, see pictures of Kate Moss and think “where did she get that?” and then realize, oh right… She lives in Europe.

To help get you started, I offer you the fashionista’s map of Europe . Europe is a mecca for fashionistas. Not only do most people dress nice, but you can find those digs almost anywhere.
Our tour starts in the land where you find the best of cheeses, kissing and of course, Coco Chanel: France.

Paris – Why not begin in the city of lights? After all, you have to look your best if you’re going to snag cethat romantic Parisan, right?

To tackle culture and shopping in one area, go to Avenue Montaigne near the Franklin D. Roosevelt Metro stop on the Blue Line.

Avenue Montaigne’s ultra exclusive quarter hosts Chanel, Dior, Jil Sander and many more. If it was at Fashion Week, you will find it here. However, after all your lusting you realize they won’t even let you in with your backpack and just to buy a KEYCHAIN you’d have to save for an entire year… head to Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

Champs-Élysées hosts a lavish LV, affordable Zara, Tara Jarmon and what was the largest Adidas store in the world until Summer 2008 (perfect for finding that footie jersey for your little brother). And H&M and D&G are coming soon.

lvFor a real delight, take the scenic route to shopping with a stroll through the Jardin des Tuleries & the Louvre. To do this, start at the Palais Royal – Musee du Lourve stop and walk from the Louvre, through the Jardin des Tuleries and UP to Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

Nice – Head straight to the town center (particularly between Rue Paradis and Avenue Jean-Medecin) and you will find a Zara, Chanel and tons of boutiques and specialty shops to channel your inner Kate Moss.

Cannes – From Rue d’Antibes to Boulevard de La Croisette, (In La Croisette and the Centere) you have everything from Zara to Lacoste, to staples like Dior, Chanel, LV, and Hermes where you’re almost guaranteed to shop next to someone famous.

NOTE: There are more slightly affordable boutiques EVERYWHERE, so do yourself a favor and stop in!

Stay tuned for our next stop: Italia! The land of Arrabiatta sauce, limoncello, and Prada.
